What the Assessment Covers

A 45-minute consultation with our Pharmacist Independent Prescriber

✓

Validated Screening Tools

We use clinically validated questionnaires including the Children's Sleep Habits Questionnaire (CSHQ), Insomnia Severity Index (ISI), and ADHD/autism-specific sleep measures.

✓

Sleep History Review

A detailed review of sleep patterns, bedtime routines, night waking, early rising, daytime sleepiness, and how sleep difficulties have developed over time.

✓

Medication Review

Assessment of current medications (including ADHD stimulants, melatonin, sleeping tablets) and their impact on sleep architecture.

✓

Neurodevelopmental Context

For children: sensory profile, anxiety levels, co-occurring conditions. For adults: ADHD traits, stress levels, mental health history.

✓

Family Impact Assessment

Understanding how sleep difficulties affect the wider family — siblings, partners, work, school. This informs the scope of intervention needed.

✓

Written Report & Plan

Within one week, you receive a written summary of findings and a recommended pathway — whether that is behavioural strategies, a full programme, or onward referral.

How to Book

1

Book Online

Choose a convenient appointment time using our online booking system. Evening and weekend slots available.

2

Pre-Assessment Forms

We will send you sleep diaries and screening questionnaires to complete before your appointment. This means we can use your 45 minutes for discussion, not form-filling.

3

Your Assessment

Attend your appointment (in-person or video). We will discuss everything in depth, answer your questions, and agree next steps together.

Transparent Pricing

The Sleep Mapping Assessment costs £120 and stands alone as a valuable consultation even if you choose not to continue with a full programme. There are no hidden fees, and we will always discuss costs before recommending any further steps. If you proceed to a treatment programme, the assessment fee is included in the programme cost.
